Tug-of-War team of BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar won the GNDU Inter-College Tug- of-War Championship held at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. College team gave a splendid show by defeating DIPS College, HMV College, Jalandhar and HK College, Kapurthala.  Ms. Baljinder Kaur, Navroop Kaur, Navjot Kaur, Manpreet Kaur, Charanjit Kaur, Gurpreet Kaur, Prabhjot Kaur, Jagwant Kaur and Karamjeet Kaur represented the college in the championship.

Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated the young achievers and motivated them to maintain their performance in future as well. She added that the college players have always made a mark in various championships and, as a result, BBK DAV is a forerunner in sports.

Mrs. Sweety Bala, Head, Department of Physical Education, along with other faculty members, felicitated the players on their achievements.
