Eligibility: The examination shall be open to any person:

who has passed at least one academic year previously BA with honours in the subject concerned or Bachelor’s degree in any faculty with 50 percent marks or Master’s Degree of this university or any other university in another subject or another faculty.
who has been on the rolls of a university department or a college affiliated to this university throughout one academic year preceding the examination.
who has attended not less than 75 percent of the full course of lectures delivered to his class and seminar work.

Admission to the First Semester of MA (Mass Journalism & Mass Communication) course will be open to any person who has passed Bachelor/Master degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University or an 'equivalent degree recognized by the Guru Nanak Dev University with not less than 50 percent marks.

ORDINANCES
M.Sc. Part-I
To appear in the examination, a candidate should be enrolled in the college affiliated to this course, for full one academic year preceding the examinations and should attend not less than 75% of lectures in each paper of theory and practical separately.
M.Sc. Part-II
The admission shall be open to a student who has appeared or passed M.Sc. Part I examination of GNDU. The student should be on the rolls of the affiliated college, offering the subject for the academic year preceding the examination. A candidate who has completed the prescribed courses of instruction for two examination (M.Sc.I or II) has not appeared or having appeared in the examination has failed, may be allowed, provided she produces a certificate from the Principal of the college/ head of the department showing required percentage of lectures. Students can reappear in that examination provisionely as a late college student, without attending a fresh.

MA Commercial Art (Annual System)^TOP

Eligibility : BA with minimum 50 percent marks or 45% marks in the subject concerned. Passed BA with Fine Arts/ Commercial Arts as one of the subjects or has passed Bachelor in Design/ Bachelor in Multimedia/ Diploma in Fine Arts/Commercial Art/ Design after BA from GNDU or any other examination recognized as equivalent to above.
